In a continuing game of off-field one-ups-manship, UGA AD Damon Evans received a DUI last night, and officially passed former player, Assistant Director of Personnel, and Bachelor of History, Society, and Technology degree holder Joe Hamilton.

  1. This is at best a mye-tastic event. This won't have a profound effect on either Tech or the (sic). The only thing that MIGHT take place is that Richt will get his indoor practice facility three or four years sooner. The football won't be better or worse. Short of the fact that the dude will have hell to pay for a month or two, the (sic)'s reputation isn't tarnished any more than it already was.

Not saying that I condone drunk driving, but again, this is a non-issue in the grand scheme of things.
