If by meaning we were a cutaway of our true selves, prone to flying apart because of our descriptive but not functional nature, that would be a great depiction. Hopefully someone kept the cut away parts so we can weld the thing back together.
Clutch is not how I describe a late comeback win against a bad Wake team with a 4th string QB.
And for all the grief I get about when to go on 4th, did anyone else notice how close we came to having that 2nd quarter turnover on downs come back to haunt us. When you give away a an easy FG in a 3-3 game early on, and then go down 3 late in the 4th quarter, you are lucky to win.
To abide...To be aficionados. To not only enjoy, but to understand, Georgia Tech football, the ACC, and College Football, in that order. The trained palate perceives more, and thus enjoys more, than the ignorant palate.
Hash Slinger & Frank Lloyd Wrong are two ardent Georgia Tech fans, hedonists, & men of questionable virtue. They live in Atlanta & their work can be found not only on this blog but also in prison cells & bathroom walls throughout our fine nation. Much like The Dude, who they greatly admire, Hash & Frank abide....
