Jeremiah Attaochu......

Come on Down....you're the next contestant on "meet the 2010 Georgia Tech signees". A 6'3", 223 pound defensive end at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C., Attaochu will play the "Jack" position (rush linebacker) in our new 3-4 defense. The first of two players that followed Al Groh to Tech, Attaochu chose Tech over Illinois, Maryland, UVA, & Minnesota, to name a few.

Hash's Take: prototype size for the "Jack" linebacker position; long arms will help keep offensive linemen away from his body. Good speed for a player with his size. Will add another 20-25 pounds in the weight room once on campus. Relentless pursuing the football. A nice variety of pass rush moves for a young player. Good balance & ability to get through trash at the line. Will need to learn to play in space as a linebacker but has all the natural tools. Expect a redshirt year but Attaochu has a bright future on the Flats.

Player he reminds us of: we'll go with former Groh protege Chris Slade.
