Just Like Lil' Wayne Says.....

A quick update from Pro Day today at Tech. Jon Dwyer looked very good in drills & ran a 4.55 forty. Morgan Burnett, as we predicted, stood out with a sub 4.5 40 (4.45), a 39.5 inch vertical leap, & a strong broad jump. Derrick Morgan looked good but only participated in position drills. Perhaps no one helped themselves more than two time All-ACC guard Cord Howard. Howard clocked a 5.1 in the 40 weighing in at 314 pounds. He also completed 25 reps on the bench press at 225 pounds & had a 30-inch vertical. Cord certainly interjected himself into a few teams draft considerations. Martin Frierson & Sed Griffin also took part in all activities. BayBay was in attendance but remains in a boot from his foot surgery. Tech alum & Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt was back on the Flats as well as Tashard Choice, who was there giving former teammates encouragement. Bear's head coach Lovie Smith & Falcons coach Mike Smith were also present. Members of the Seahawks & Jaguars scouting & coaching staffs were present, presumably to check out Derrick Morgan. Get that money.....We'll have more tomorrow....
