A Reminder to Our Faithful Readers.....

Campus violence has become all too common place these days & yesterday it reared it's ugly head at Tech as a former doctoral student attacked a fellow student with a samurai sword.

WTF???? A samurai sword???

Kshitij Shrotri, cowardly bastard that he is, attacked Samir Tawfik in the AE building, without even the courtesy of requesting a duel. There is no excuse for rude behavior like this; one must always "demand satisfaction" from an adversary; unprovoked attacks are simply barbarous. According to the AJC, Tawfik underwent surgery at Grady Hospital where he remains in stable condition today. Our best wishes, sir....
Lost in this drama was the injury to Tech police officer Robert Turner, who was injured subduing Shrotri. Tech says he is fine & should return to duty soon. We applaud his actions & are grateful for his service....
But come on, man!!!! How did you get injured subduing a man wielding a sword? Defeating the crazed sword-wielding maniac is one of the easiest plays in the book. It's a simple formula, easily executable, which officer Turner must have forgotten in the heat of the moment. Lest any of our faithful readers fall into the same situation, this is how you defeat the crazed sword wielding jihadist. Pretty simple. Let's all remember this lesson in case we are in this situation. Again our best to Tawfik & Turner on a speedy recovery....

More later on Kiffin's ridiculous recruiting, a new idea for the Bobby Dodd jumbotron, & U(sic)GA shamelessness....
