For general badassedness, above the normal realm...
White Russians:
- The Georgia Tech Offense. I could single out one person but that just doesn't seem right. We are rolling right now. It's been a millenium since we punted in the second half. It seems as if we score at will. We averaged 42 points in 5 games in October. We just hung 56 on an SEC team (with SEC speed!) on the road. Could have scored 70. We roll over everything in our path...
Marcus Wright & Co. not only score at will but play leapfrog as they do it...
- Every Day Should Be Saturday (EDSBS). Orson Swindle/Spencer Hall has a master's in international affairs from the Institute. He's a smart guy. Who writes the best blog on the internet. Period. I am routinely cleaning coffee off my monitor after reading the genius of Mr. Swindle. If you don't get to EDSBS every day, your life is sadly incomplete. From yesterday:
A quantitative analysis of Coach Paul Johnson from EDSBS
- Brandon Spikes: I told you that biblical motherfucker would do something crazy on Saturday. Damn right. Interception return for a touchdown. The Ginger Ninja running scared. And the famous "eye-for-an-eye" defensive formation. Thanks for living up to the hype...
Walter's
Because there are rules....
- Our Schizophrenic defense. Stop with the big plays. Settle down. Tackle. See Frank Lloyd Wrong's post from yesterday. I'm a huge Muhammad Ali fan but I can't take this anymore...
Stop with the "Rope-a-Dope" defense, will ya???
- Kick Coverage (or lack thereof). Just kick the damn thing out of bounds. Really. Can't hurt, can it? Better than what we're doing now. I'm serious. My blood pressure spikes every time we kick off, which is frequently since we score at will. Just kick it out of bounds, give it to them at the 40, and be done with it. Thank you, tirade over...
- ACC Refs. Blown calls? How many extended reviews can we have? Make a decision, dammit. We need to fix this. As we all know, a picture is worth....
Umm, forget something, did we? Can ACC officials do anything competently?
