Best of luck to Morgan Burnett on his NFL future....

We're hearing that Morgan Burnett will announce his decision to leave Tech & enter the NFL draft on Monday. Burnett played hurt this year & with a young family to support this doesn't surprise us. Another year may have helped but we can't blame Uno. We do wonder if he projects better as a safety or corner at the next level? Best of luck to one of the most talented DB's to ever wear white & gold....

On a more disturbing front, rumors of Anthony Allen's departure to the NFL seem to be gaining traction after he posted on his Facebook page that he was making, "life changing decisions". Do yourself a favor, #18, & return to Tech as the feature back next year. The money will still be there in 2011 & another year will definitely help your draft status. Whomever is giving you advice to leave certainly doesn't have your best interests at heart.

Returning to Tech in 2011 would certainly behoove Mr. Allen....

A little more info has come to us since we posted this afternoon. Evidently rumors of Allen's departure got back to the staff & they had a sit-down with him this afternoon to find out what was up. He was getting some pressure/bad advice & that's been cleared up. Look forward to #18 as our B-back next year.
