Lucky #13....

The Yellow Jackets received their 13th verbal commitment for the class of 2010 tonight as Lakeland, Florida linebacker Quayshawn Nealy pulled the trigger & committed to Tech.  We don't give a rat's ass about "stars" from recruiting services here at The Barrel, we prefer to look at the list of schools that have offered scholarships to the player.  In Nealy's case it's an impressive one that includes: Ole Miss, U(sic)GA, UVA, Nebraska, Kansas, Purdue, & Michigan. As we noted, an impressive list that indicates a solid player to us.  Nealy plays for a very highly regarded Lakeland team still in the Florida playoffs & will take an official visit to Tech once his season is over.  That's 13 commitments for Tech so far, 9 of them on the defensive side of the ball.  Welcome to the Flats, good sir....

  2. Isaiah Johnson is a stud. A fitting replacement for Morgan Burnett. Let me redshirt next year & learn from Morgan then it's on. This class, while small (probably 15 players), will be a very good one for Tech.

  3. We need all the help we can get on the defensive side of the ball. If we can get the kid from Byoofert SakrLinA, we'll be in business. Go get him Paul.
